Corelle Coordinates - Pyrex Festiva (2001) Amethyst, Cobalt Blue, Spring Green
Dating to early 2001, Festiva is a tinted clear Pyrex product, primarily made to harmonize with multiple Corelle patterns in a mix & match style. The colours range from deep Amethyst, to brilliant Cobalt Blue, to light Spring Green. Each piece has a rimmed shape with an embossed swirl design, similar to Windward White or Enhancements. The pattern was described in a press release: "Shimmering feathered accents, inspired by cool rippling waters, add elegance to any dinner table."

Although it was sold under the Corelle Coordinates brand, it is marked Pyrex, and it does not possess the same chip & break resistance as Corelle. Festiva is thicker and larger, so its shapes do not correspond exactly to those of Corelle.
Festiva was sold by the piece in open stock and in boxed sets which included matching glassware. One type of glass made for Festiva resembles those sold with Enhancements, decorated near the top with a 'wiggle' design in either blue, green or purple. Another type is patterned with wide and narrow bands of blue, green and purple. There are no Festiva mugs or cups.
In Amethyst and Cobalt Blue (plus Spring Green to a lesser extent) there is a very wide selection of clear Pyrex baking pans, 024 casseroles and rimmed nesting bowls. Strictly speaking, these Pyrex items were not named Festiva, but they do share the same colours.

Additionally, there is a three piece nesting bowl set including all three Festiva colours, and it is a clear sculptured version of the familiar 300/400-series bowls. This set was available during 2000, so it pre-dates Festiva by at least one year, and it was not named Festiva either.

Festiva Dinnerware:
Round Platter/Charger (12¼") Dinner Plate (10¾") Luncheon Plate (9¼") Side Plate (7½")
Soup/Cereal Bowl (14 oz, 7½") Large Bowl (24 oz, 11-1/8")
The Large Bowl in Spring Green. This size was suggested as either a serving bowl or for individual portions. It is not marked with a brand name, but the other Festiva shapes usually do say Pyrex on the bottom.
Festiva shapes were produced originally as restaurant ware in white glass-ceramic, most likely Suprema. Corning's glass-ceramic restaurant ware was branded as 'Pyroceram Tableware' regardless of which specific formula it was made.
Cobalt Blue & Spring Green Serveware (1999)
Cross-merchandising Corelle patterns with harmoniously tinted Pyrex was not a new concept at Festiva's introduction. The combination first appeared in early 1999 when 70% thicker Corelle was introduced. Shades of blue and green were particularly prominent in the new patterns, and co-ordinating Pyrex serving accessories in Cobalt Blue and Spring Green were provided.
The initial selection of thick Corelle patterns was Classical Garden, Damascus, Palazzo, and undecorated Pure White. Bluefield and Essence joined this grouping in early 2000, and Tanglewood appeared later that year. The Pyrex items are embellished with an embossed design on the rim, and the same motif is found in both Damascus and Palazzo.
Spring Green Serveware, large bowl & charger plate. They are not marked with a brand name. The charger plate says only: "3120 Made in USA … No Stovetop or Broiler". The bowl has no useful backstamp, only a mould number.
Serveware in Cobalt Blue & Spring Green includes: Serving Bowl (2¼ Qt), Oval Platter (16"), Large Bowl (24 oz, 11-1/8"), Round Platter or Charger (12¼"). The latter two shapes are identical to Festiva, aside from the pattern. The 2¼ Qt serving bowl is quite deep with a narrow flat rim, and the 24 oz large bowl is shallow with a very wide rim. There might be other shapes & sizes as well.
The Corelle patterns were designed with mix & match appeal too, most of them employing the same colour palette and shared motifs. Besides the similarities in Damascus and Palazzo, aspects of Classical Garden and Bluefield are also identical.
The thick Corelle sets are definitely made of Vitrelle and not a glass-ceramic, but the brand name assigned to them was "Corningware Dinnerware". Other names given to 70% thicker Corelle since that time have been Infinia, Luxe and Ultra. Cobalt Blue & Spring Green Pyrex accessories were called "Corningware Serveware", and these items are not glass-ceramic either.
Cobalt Blue & Spring Green Serveware remained on the market into 2000, but it probably was dropped in favour of Festiva which arrived early 2001. An exact date of discontinuance is not known. Related Article:
