Beige-Tinted Plates: CornerStone, Standard Rimmed, Coupe 

Corelle was produced with a beige tint from 1983 to 2010.  Eventually this colour came to be known as Sandstone.  Three plate styles have appeared with a beige background:  CornerStone, Standard Rimmed and Coupe.

Patterns on a beige Standard Rimmed plate are often from Natural Images.  This product line was discontinued in the mid 1990s, but new patterns with this plate style would appear until 2010.  This is also true of the CornerStone Collection, a product line whose name was dropped in the early 1990s, but the shape remained current up to 2009.

When the CornerStone shape disappeared, the remaining patterns in this style were not discontinued immediately.  So Abundance, Coastal Breeze and Country Morning also appear on beige Standard Rimmed plates, and they are counted twice in the lists below.

Undecorated Beige items exist with CornerStone and Standard Rimmed shapes.  These were probably offered only in open stock, chiefly aimed at owners of discontinued beige-bodied patterns who needed replacements or additional pieces.  Coupe items in Beige were offered this way as well, but in 2003 they were assembled into complete boxed sets for the first time and named Sandstone.

* - There is more than one pattern named Apple Harvest.  This one with a beige background and standard rimmed plate style has a primarily blue and red design, with a picket fence and tall baskets stacked with apples.  An apple tree is the main feature on larger pieces.  This pattern is from the Natural Images product line, and was introduced in 1988.

** - There is more than one pattern named Circles.  This one with a beige background and coupe plate style has a design of solid-coloured circles, rectangles and ovals, in brown, tan and grey.

‡ - Saucers for Heirloom Bloom are CornerStone shaped.
