Pattern List - Corning Ware Teapots
It seems that the 6 cup Corning Ware teapot entered the market in 1960. An exact date of discontinuance is not known, but since Shadow Iris and Pastel Bouquet are the last patterns to appear on these teapots, they must have disappeared soon after 1986. Total so far: 19.

Less numerous are 3 cup teapots which date to at least 1962. They were discontinued around 1971 or 1972.
3 Cup Teapots (P-103):
Blue Cornflower Floral Bouquet Wheat * White
* - Items with a gold-coloured Wheat pattern typically are prefixed with 'W', so these teapots might be marked W-103 & W-104. This pattern was available at Bon Marche. It is not clear whether Wheat was exclusive to that retailer, but it is possible, as it seems that other stores did not advertise it. Wheat was available in 1969 & 1970, but exact starting and ending dates are not known.
** - With all permutations taken into account, there are actually four distinct versions of the Spice O' Life teapot. The French phrase, "Le The" may be present or absent, and the main design changed in the mid-1970s also. The oldest examples have a more leafy appearance, and this aspect was given a trim sometime before 1978. Comparing the herbs surrounding the edge of the pattern, the newer version has a more compact shape.

In 1971 & 1972 four special 6 cup teapots were available, called the "Garden of Teapots". The patterns were designed by Alice Kiernan, who was also one of the designers of Spice O' Life (1972). The Garden of Teapots includes: Bantry, Canterbury, Chelsea, Lancaster. Original packaging also dubbed these a "Partea Teapot".

Other Teapots:
A newer style is the 8 cup Designer Teapot, a P-168. The pot itself is undecorated, but the lid and band are solid-coloured. There were four to choose from: Chocolate, Lemon, Cranberry, Blueberry. This type was introduced in 1983, and it was last available in 1985.

The shape of the P-210 is very similar to a P-168, and it was made from 1983 to 1985 too. But the P-210 was not meant to be a teapot, it was designed as a universal replacement carafe for all major brands of automatic drip coffee makers. It holds 10 cups and was available in plain white only. The glass knob is removable.

2 Quart Teapot (P-105), 4 cup Beverage Server.
Two Quart teapots were available in Blue Cornflower, Wheat, White. Beverage Servers in 4 cup and 8 cup sizes were introduced in 1965, and they were offered in Blue Cornflower and White. Like teapots, Beverage Servers came with no special parts or attachments and were meant for tea, instant coffee, hot chocolate, etc.
Other shapes and sizes of teapots exist, but some items that look like teapots are really filter-drip coffee makers. One example of this type is a P-106 from the mid 1970s. It was equipped with a large plastic cone that holds a paper filter and coffee grounds, standing on top of the pot while boiling water is poured in. Lids for these coffee pots are similar to regular teapot lids. P-106 patterns include: Blue Cornflower, Country Festival, Spice O' Life (with lettering), Spice O' Life (without lettering), White, Wildflower. Related Articles:
