1985 Brochure - CornerStone, Introducing Spring Pond
This brochure for retailers promotes CornerStone's newest pattern, and pictures the other four patterns still available at the time. These include: Royal Garden, China Blossom, Iris, Summer Mist.
Of the original CornerStone patterns, Belle Grove and Glenora were already discontinued. Iris and Summer Mist were still relatively new in 1985, and the latter is featured prominently in the brochure also.

Spring Pond responded to the trend towards pastel tones and appealed to those who prefer stoneware dinnerware.
All patterns in the CornerStone line were included in the price promotion. Summer Mist is shown in the main picture.

It is definitely Royal Garden. Frequently it is identified incorrectly due to a typo on the official Corelle website. The mistake has been on the list of discontinued patterns for several years. But without a doubt, all packaging and catalogues call it Royal Garden, and it was never re-named.
