1972 Leaflet - Corning Ware Beverage Maker Use & Care
This instruction booklet came with a P-104 Blue Cornflower teapot. It covers different types of Corning Ware beverage makers, focusing mainly on making coffee, and explaining methods for stove-top percolators, dripolators, filter drip coffeemakers, and instant coffee. It offers no particular guidelines for making tea.

Preparing to make perfect coffee, selecting the proper grind, measuring the correct quantities, and how to use a stove-top percolator.

The Drip Method refers to a unit known as a Dripolator, consisting of a Corning Ware teapot topped by a clear Pyrex bowl with a stainless steel filter attached to its base. It has a valve which allows the upper bowl to hold liquid when it is not seated on the teapot.
The Filter Drip Method involves a coffee carafe with a large plastic cone attached to the top. This type of coffeemaker is less sophisticated than the Dripolator, and a separate kettle must be used for boiling and pouring the hot water. The directions do not seem to draw attention to that necessity.

Cleaning advice and warranty information. Corning Ware is guaranteed against breakage caused by heat shock, but damage from impacts is not covered. The leaflet is dated April 1972.
