1974 Brochure - Pyrex Ware 470 Casseroles

This page aimed at retailers announces special pricing for the 470 round casserole set in four patterns, from March to May of 1974.  Butterfly Gold, Spring Blossom Green and Snowflake Blue are included along with Friendship.  Old Orchard was introduced in 1974, around the time of this price promotion.  That pattern was designed by artist Estelle Rothstein.

When Friendship was introduced in 1971 the lids were the clear decorated type, and within a year or so these were changed to opal decorated lids.  The main picture includes the older type of lid, but the box in the bottom photo shows the newer kind, the correct style for the time.  Friendship was designed by Gregory Mirow.
