1981 Package Leaflet - Corelle in Britain
The following photos are taken from a brochure found in a box of Sedgemoor which was sold in Britain. Corelle had been available in North America for more than ten years, but it was not launched in the UK until 1981. Old Town Blue is seen in the second photo, but it was given a new name, Windermere.

The warranty card mentions two more patterns: Sedgemoor and Wild Strawberries. Presumably the latter is the new name of Strawberry Sunday. Butterfly Gold and Winter Frost White also have been spotted on the market in the UK; it is not known if they also were assigned new names.
A sweepstakes contest accompanied the product launch. The five grand prizes were trips for two to a destination of the winner's choice. There were 25 second prizes of microwave ovens and 1250 third prizes of table linens.
