Corning Ware Profile: Delicious (1992)
Launched September 1992, Delicious was the first pattern to be printed on French White shapes. When it was unveiled, Corning's director of design stated: "There has been an interest for patterns on French White for years. ... This pattern is appropriate for French White; it captures the European country style. And I expect the apple motif will be strong this year."
 Deep oval F-2, 2.8 L or 2½ Qt.
Delicious was marketed in more upscale settings, selling in department stores and at specialty retailers. Round and oval casseroles in 2½ Qt sizes could be purchased individually, and four-piece and five-piece boxed sets were also offered.
All known shapes & sizes in Delicious are listed, there might be others too.
F-1 = 2½ Qt covered round (2.5 L)
F-12 = 1½ Qt covered deep oval (1.8 L)
F-2 = 2½ Qt covered deep oval (2.8 L)
F-21 = 4½ Qt open roaster (4.5 L)
Pattern close-up; apples, apple blossoms & leaves.
It was intended that more patterns would be developed specifically for French White Corning Ware, with a second pattern anticipated for the following year. That probably did not occur, but certain Corelle patterns did translate to French White during the mid to late 1990s. Some of them are: Callaway, English Meadow, Fruit Basket, My Garden, Oceanview, Pink Trio.
