Corning Ware Profile: Designer Casseroles (1977)
2½ Qt Designer Casserole in Meadow.
Corning Ware Designer Casseroles co-ordinate with the first four Corelle Expressions patterns: April, Blue Heather, Indian Summer, Meadow, and they also came in White. The 1½ Qt size is more shallow than the 2½ Qt, but they have the same diameter at the top. So both sizes use the same Pyrex lid, marked "DC 1 1/2-C". The wide tab handles are incompatible with detachable Corning Ware handles.

Also appearing during the late 1970s, the French White product line's shape is derived from these casseroles, and an F-6-B (1.8 L) and F-2-B (2.8 L) in French White are equivalent to DC-1 1/2-B and DC-2 1/2-B in the Designer series. Both French White casseroles also share this same lid.
Not perfectly oval, it is more of a rounded rectangle, strictly speaking.
