Corelle Profile: Blue Wreath, Floral Wisp (198?)

Blue Wreath and Floral Wisp were available together during the early 1990s, but they might be as old as the late 1980s.  Their exact dates are not known.  Both were loosely associated with the Design Images product line, with a white-bodied standard rimmed plate style and coupe soup/cereal bowls.  But Blue Wreath & Floral Wisp were presented as more casual choices, including mugs rather than cups & saucers.

In general, both patterns were available in large 33 piece sets which contained eight place settings and one platter.  Mugs are made of Suprema glass-ceramic, and they are the flared type which was normally paired with Livingware patterns.  Soup/cereal bowls and platters are decorated with a single coloured band, light green for Blue Wreath and grey for Floral Wisp.  It seems that luncheon plates, dessert bowls and serving bowls were not offered in either pattern.

Floral Wisp uses the same grey band that matches numerous other patterns, so serving bowls and dessert bowls can be borrowed from another pattern like Ribbon Bouquet, and they will be a suitable match.  It is unclear whether Blue Wreath's light green band matches any other patterns.
