Pattern Profile: Peach Floral, Country Cornflower (1988)
Part of the Occasions line, Peach Floral was introduced during the first half of 1988, and it seems that Country Cornflower was launched later that same year. The latter is said to be an adaptation of the Blue Cornflower emblem. Both multi-coloured patterns are decorated in the centre of the plate with two coloured bands circling the rim. Bowls and saucers are decorated only with matching coloured bands.

Previously, Occasions cups had been imported porcelain, but during 1987 these cups transitioned to Suprema glass-ceramic. But cream & sugar sets for this product line still would be made of porcelain. It is unclear whether dessert bowls or luncheon plates exist for either pattern.
Country Cornflower is notable for returning to Pyrex juice jugs, which had not been seen with Corelle patterns since the late 1970s. Although juice jugs had remained in production through the 1980s, they were decorated with unrelated designs during that time.

A wide selection of matching Corning Ware was available in Peach Floral and Country Cornflower. Regular square Corning Ware shapes were made in sizes ranging from 2¾ cup Petite Pans to 5 Qt casseroles. Other pieces include roasters and Menu-ette sets, plus larger long-handled saucepans.
The final year of production for both Corelle patterns seems to be 1992, but Country Cornflower Corning Ware was not discontinued until sometime after 1993. Exact ending dates are not known.

Pyrex Pitchers: Country Cornflower is the last Corelle pattern to appear on these pieces. The pattern can seem a bit non-standard even on genuine Pyrex pitchers. Although it is multi-coloured normally, the design is printed only in blue on juice jugs. These two shapes for Country Cornflower differ from those of the 1970s.

Others: Gemco produced tabletop accessories with an official version of Country Cornflower under the brand name 'Corning Coordinates for Corelle'. These pieces are clear glass with a pattern on a white plastic lid.
Robinson Design Group provided porcelain teapots in both Country Cornflower and Peach Floral. They are licensed products and were made in Japan.
