Pattern Profile: Deco Bands, Morning Glory, Normandy, Peach Garland, Queen's Lace, Rose Trellis (1986)
The Design Images product line was launched in 1986, and it made use of the new rimmed plate shape with a white background. These six new patterns featured two-colour designs on the rim, and some were patterned in the centre as well. Deco Bands and Morning Glory were available only as large 40 piece sets while the others came as 20 piece sets usually. Luncheon plates (9 inch), 10 oz dessert bowls and 2 Qt serving bowls could be non-existent for all of these patterns; no examples have been found at least.

Bowls, saucers and platters were decorated only with a matching coloured band. These pieces for Normandy and Queen's Lace appear to share the same shade of blue, and this may be true of Morning Glory as well. Peach Garland is trimmed with sage green and Deco Bands is trimmed in taupe. The trim on Rose Trellis bowls and saucers appears to be taupe as well.

Initially the sets came with porcelain cups in the new 'Images' shape, with straight sides and rounded bottom. But for patterns surviving more than two years, these cups would be made of Suprema too. Additionally, Peach Garland is known to have been offered with the larger straight-sided Suprema mugs. The Images line disappeared in the mid 1990s, but Peach Garland outlived that by a bit, so near the end of its lifespan it was offered with the narrow tapered Occasions cup style instead.
A modest selection of matching Corning Ware was also available for Peach Garland. Classic Corning Ware shapes were made in sizes ranging from 1 Qt to 5 Qt. There may be others also.

Deco Bands and Morning Glory were discontinued quickly in late 1986 or early 1987. Normandy, Queen’s Lace and Rose Trellis were dropped sometime between 1987 and 1992. Although Normandy does seem to rank second in terms of longevity.

Others: Glassware was made for Normandy and Peach Garland with authentic looking designs. One known style, by an unidentified maker, came in 3 or more sizes, and these glasses have a straight-sided shape, slightly narrower at the bottom with a thick heavy base. Other licensed Coordinates for Normandy include glass counter-savers from Vance Industries.
