Pattern Profile: Sedgemoor (1981)
A floral design in dark chocolate brown, this pattern was produced exclusively for the UK market in 1981. Up to that point, Corelle had not been available there, and at least six more patterns were introduced around that time. The others were familiar designs from the North American market, although some were given new names.

In the end, Corelle failed to catch on in Britain and there are two possible reasons: the aversion to the hook-handled cup, and the expensive price tag. Factoring into the retail price was the cost of transportation, plus a decision had been taken to market Corelle in the UK as an upscale brand at a higher price point.
It is not known exactly how long Sedgemoor was available, but it does appear to be extremely short-lived, perhaps one year or so. No matching Pyrex ovenware, nesting bowls or Tabletop Ware was produced either. The list includes shapes & sizes that are confirmed, and there might be more.

Corelle Dinnerware: Dinner Plate (10¼") Side Plate (6¾") Saucer (6¼")
Open Handle Cup (6-7 oz) Open Handle Cream & Sugar
Soup/Cereal Bowl (18 oz 6¼") 1 Qt Serving Bowl (8½")
Notable Absences: Centura Cup (round-bottom, 8 oz) Pyrex Cup (round-bottom, 8 oz) Suprema Mug (flared, 9 oz) Pyrex Compatibles Tabletop Ware
Exceptions: A light golden brown version of Sedgemoor was distributed in North America, and backstamps show that it was manufactured during 1984. Pyrex 1410 mugs were provided rather than hook-handle cups & saucers, and soup/cereal bowls exist too. Nothing else is known about this version, and it is not known whether it had a distinct pattern name.
