Pattern Profile: Forget-Me-Not (1983)

Forget-Me-Not was introduced in 1983, with a pretty design of petite blue flowers circling the centre of the plate and green bands on the rim.  Its narrow rimmed plate style, borrowed from Dimension IV, makes it unique amongst the patterns of the Expressions line.  This is the only floral design to appear on the narrow rimmed shape.

Bowls and saucers are decorated only with a medium green band, and closed-handle cups, creamers and sugar bowls are made of Centura.  Forget-Me-Not was discontinued mid-1986 with the rest of the Expressions line.

This is the first Corelle pattern to be given this name, and the predominant colour is blue with yellow and green.  The newer pattern's name is apparently spelled 'Forget Me Not', and it is a pastel design in pale purple, yellow and light green with a coupe plate shape, launched in 2001.
