Pattern Profile: Flirtation (1981)
Flirtation is a cheerful multi-coloured floral and butterfly design which was introduced in 1981 as one of four patterns in the new Traditions Livingware line. The bowls, saucers and oval platters are decorated on the rim with only a single yellow band. These banded pieces also match April, since it is the same shade of yellow. The patterns in the Traditions line were the first to come with opal Pyrex round bottom cups and large cream & sugar sets.
Traditions was relatively short-lived and all patterns, including Flirtation, were discontinued at the end of 1983. This pattern was designed by artists Candace Faber and Loretta Moskal.
