Comparing Golden Honeysuckle & Floral Casserole

The Floral Casserole is an oval 043/943 that was offered for a short time in late 1960.  It came with a walnut-handled candle-warmer cradle.  Advertising states its proper name as "Floral Casserole" and says: "The hot buffet is a pleasure for the hostess who owns this generous oven-to-table Pyrex casserole."  The pattern is sage green on a plain opal background.

A new version of the same design appeared in early 1963 with the launch of Golden Honeysuckle.  A new and unique casserole shape is the most notable characteristic of this pattern, and the sizes are: 033 (1½ Qt shallow), 035 (2½ Qt deep), 055 (2½ Qt shallow), 058 (4 Qt deep).  At times, they were equipped with solid walnut serving trays.  The pattern is gold leaf with a solid white coloured exterior.
