Comparing Spring Blue & Spring Pink
Spring Blue debuted in 2006 and Spring Pink appeared in 2010. Unexpectedly, they aren't exact copies of each other, even disregarding the obvious colour difference.
Spring Pink sets include solid red stoneware mugs and soup/cereal bowls with two green bands on the rim. Conversely, Spring Blue comes with patterned stoneware mugs, and soup/cereal bowls have one blue band on the very edge. Luncheon plates and side plates exist in both patterns.
Dinner plates: Spring Blue, Spring Pink.
Large boxed sets of Spring Blue include additional items that do not seem to be offered in Spring Pink: platters, serving bowls, dessert bowls, soup plates. Serving bowls and dessert bowls have a dark blue pattern on the side, while the platter's decoration is printed with dark blue and green.
