Spice O' Life: Comparing Teapot Variations
At Spice O' Life's introduction, the design was larger and leafier than the design that would appear a few years later in the mid 1970s. This is true of many Corning Ware pieces in this pattern, but the focus of this comparison is the P-104 teapot. There are four variations for Spice O' Life teapots: the pattern can be large or small, and the lettering can be present or absent.
Older teapot, left. Newer teapot, right. The newer design is a scaled down and pruned back version of the original. Both of these also can be found with the French phrase "Le The".

Original large pattern, top. New small pattern, bottom.
Most of the differences are tedious to spot, but the best place to begin is the far left. The green sprig on the left will have either six leaves or three leaves.
