Comparing Friendship Pyrex & Country Festival Corning Ware
Twin bird motifs are a recurring theme on Pyrex in particular, but Country Festival is one example that can be found on Corning Ware. It might have the distinction of being the most incorrectly identified Corning Ware pattern. The most common error is confusing it with Friendship, and another frequent mistake is misspelling 'Festival'.
In general, Friendship and Country Festival do share similarities, but their colour schemes and the styles of the artwork certainly distinguish them from each other. A comparison between the two shows that they cannot possibly be the same pattern. Friendship was discontinued about one year before Country Festival's launch in the summer of 1975.

There are other Pyrex items decorated with pairs of birds, and one example from late 1959 is an oval 043/943 casserole. The original packaging reveals that it was called the Bluebird Casserole and it was equipped with a metal cradle originally.

A more recent pattern on dark brown amber Pyrex rimmed nesting bowls bears a resemblance to Country Festival and even Gemco's Country Life. The rosy beige pattern is called Festive Harvest and it was introduced mid-1988. It was still in production in 1990, but an exact ending date is not known.
