From a distance, they seem identical, but up close it becomes apparent that nearly every aspect is distinct for each.  The most obvious distinguishing feature is the use of black in the veins of the leaves on Holly Days.  The shape of the leaves and the overall arrangement of the motifs is different.  The colour choices differ as well.  Winter Holly's red is brighter and the green is deeper; this is most noticeable on the outer band.

Holly Days debuted in 1985, and Winter Holly dates to 1991.
