Spice O' Life: Comparing Corning Ware, Pyrex & Gemco Ware 

 

Gemco's opal glass version was named Spice Excitement and the clear glass version was Top O' Spice.

The differences can be exceedingly difficult to spot, especially considering that the exact arrangement of genuine Spice O' Life varies with the size and shape of each piece.  One discernable aspect which appears almost every time is the pair of brown and red tomatoes front and centre.  On Corning Ware and Store 'N' See containers the red tomato leans to the right with the stem of the brown tomato touching it.  On Gemco pieces the red tomato leans to the left and the stem of the brown one leans away from it.
