The Centura Promise
1972 Catalogue. It shows the use of the Pyroceram brand name with respect to Centura. The word Pyroceram was a general term applied to all of Corning's glass-ceramic products regardless of their exact composition. Corning Ware items meant to co-ordinate with Centura were identified by the 'glowing flame' symbol within the Centura logo, and they were covered by a different warranty.
