The Centura Promise
1972 Catalogue.  It shows the use of the Pyroceram brand name with respect to Centura.  The word Pyroceram was a general term applied to all of Corning's glass-ceramic products regardless of their exact composition.  Centura logo incorporating Corning Ware's glowing flame symbol.  This indicates the item is made of Corning Ware, not Centura.Corning Ware items meant to co-ordinate with Centura wereThe glowing flame symbol appears on genuine Corning Ware stove-top cookware. identified by the 'glowing flame' symbol within the Centura logo, and they were covered by a different warranty.
